Disability Advocacy for Commercial Managed Care Members
Freedom Disability works on behalf of the nation’s premier commercial Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) to reduce the cost associated with the MCOs most costly members. We identify members with potential eligibility for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and serve as their advocate in submitting applications. For these targeted members, SSDI becomes a pathway to Medicare enrollment. The member receives valuable monthly cash benefits, while the MCO sees the cost associated with these expensive members greatly reduced!
Applying for federal disability benefits is a challenge:
- Over 60% of initial applications for disability benefits are denied by the Social Security Administration
- 75% of those who are denied do not file an appeal
