Get the Word Out – Alpha™ is About Vets Helping Vets
We said back in the spring that Freedom Disability was extending its disability advocacy capabilities to veterans and, I’m proud to say, we did it.
We launched Alpha in July. We have a uniquely trained staff of Alpha Advocates and, we have hit the ground hard to accomplish the Alpha mission of helping their fellow veterans maneuver through the bureaucracy of the Veterans Administration (VA).
The Alpha goal is to help disabled veterans get the highest level of compensation possible in the shortest amount of time, which simply hasn’t been happening at the VA because of the overwhelmingly high volume of claims caught in a severe backlog there. We think a lot of the problem has to do with inadequately preparing and presenting to the VA a well-developed case. Alpha will make a substantial difference in getting fellow veterans through the complicated compensation process. They definitely have expertise and experience in navigating the system. Most of them have gone through it themselves.
I think the Alpha team is great. I admire their dedication and passion in wanting to advocate for disabled veterans and their families. I find them all to be a great group of individuals with service backgrounds that simply amaze me. A few of them have posted stories about why they are Alpha Advocates under the tab “Alpha Views” on the Alpha Web site www.alphadisability.com. I encourage you to read them.
Alpha also has a Facebook page, so tell your friends. With your help, we can get the word out about Alpha Veterans Disability Advocates – veterans helping veterans. Thanks.Note: All representation coordinated by Alpha is provided by our employees, the Advocates, who are accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). No private organization that trains and employs accredited agents has been legally recognized by the VA for the purposes of preparation, presentation, and prosecution of claims. This work must be done by the Advocates themselves and not organizations.

Sirs, I am a veteran who receives SSDI, and I have an on going VA claim in process with the Veterans Administration . I filed the claim in December of 2010, the VA has received all information, my military records, my work history at the VA Hospital, all other information that is needed for this case. I have even been to claims and compensation for a physical in 2011. I very recently was told that the VA Hospital will start to receive 15% of my SSDI to pay for my Hospital care over the last two years as well as ongoing care. Is this a case that you all can assist me with. Please respond.
