I would like more information on how to apply
Angela,
You can apply directly with the Social Security Administration or seek the help of qualified disability advocacy experts such as the Advocates at Freedom Disability. Our disability advocates know how to prepare a high-quality application for you that details very specific information about you, your family, your work history and your medical history. Applying on your own is difficult. And, if your application is incomplete in any way, you risk the high probability of getting denied. SSA denies about 63 percent of first-time applications. Get expert help in filing your claim. If you need more information, please call Freedom Disability at (866) 761-5942. Good luck!
I am a retired SSA employee and would like to get back to work. Are there still any openings?
Judith,
Please send your resume to mgeorge@freedomdisability.com. We will review your resume and contact you if there is an opening.
Do your disability advocates telecommute? I currently live in Huntsville, Alabama and have 17 years of experience with SSA. I began in customer service, specialized in both SSA and SSI claims, and was a member of management when I left care for terminally ill relatives. Additionally I worked as a regional trainer and public speaker while with the agency. I also have a Paralegal Certificate.
I am looking for opportunites to use my unique skill set and continue my career in public service in some small way.
I worked with SSA in multiple states, both the east and west coasts, the midwest and the deep south.
Please let me know if you have opportunities for remote employment in the Tennessee River Valley area (north Alabama and south Tennessee).
I will gladly submit a resume if positions in my area are a possibility.
Annette,
I recommend sending your email to mgeorge@freedomdisability.com. If there are any available positions, she will most definitely reach out to you.
