This is an Exciting Time for Freedom Disability

As we had anticipated, President Obama has signed into law the non-attorney representation bill that has easily passed both the House and Senate.  His swift action has confirmed my view that qualified non-attorney representation is an effective option for people with disabilities to choose if they need help in filing for disability benefits from the Social Security Administration.

It’s been my vision for a long time to develop an innovative approach to helping people get through the long application process for disability benefits. We’ve got it now with our professionally trained Advocates. Now that the non-attorney bill has been signed into law, that action confirms the importance of what we do here at Freedom Disability.

We are also in the midst of an exciting phase of growth and expansion. Under the leadership of Jon Mayhew, president, we can look forward to helping more and more people qualify for and receive the Social Security benefits to which they are entitled. I am excited about the prospects.  I, for one, am very appreciative of the contributions that each and every one of our employees is making to our continued progress.

With disability claims on the rise – Social Security is expecting 3.3 million claims in 2010 – there clearly is a demand for the good work we do in advocating for people with disabilities. Our business expansion will make it possible for us to help more people successfully get through the application process to winning the disability benefits they need – and deserve.
